Knit entirely in the round, the outer colorwork pattern is worked first, and features an alphabet lined up with a string of Christmas lights. The chart for the inner portion of the cowl inverts the MC and CC for what becomes the Upside Down version of the same alphabet design. Use duplicate stitch with scraps of brightly colored yarn to light up whichever letters you choose. Have fun--and Run!
