This small lap blanket is quick and easy to make, and perfect for the beginner knitter, using only knit ( garter) stitch throughout. Different chunky & 8ply* yarns are used adding texture and warmth. Can be used as a TV lap blanket, a baby or travel blanket, and for someone in a wheelchair. You can substitute the yarns to your own liking as long as the tension is correct, and add more stitches and rows to make a bigger blanket, keeping the main colour rows equal at either end for a consistent pattern.
