Product Details
Sunanami, sand waves in Japanese, is a long A-line cardigan with wavy lace pattern over its entire lower body. It is worked from the top down seamlessly with two strands of yarn held together throughout. The collar is worked first with a tiny cable pattern and slipped stitch edge (SSE), then stitches are picked up along the collar edge for yoke. The front and back are joined at the underarm where sleeve stitches are set aside, and the lower body is worked in one piece to the hem with Sunanami pattern which grows in width and length. Sleeves are worked top-down in the round. Do not pull yarn too tightly when working SSE.
