Product Details
This yoked jumper is inspired by the lovely colours of Whistlebare’s Cheviot Marsh DK yarn. This is shearling wool from Cheviot and Romney Marsh sheep reared in Northumberland, spun in Yorkshire and hand dyed at Whistlebare. This yarn is ideal for colourwork and gives excellent stitch definition. The first time I saw this yarn it made me think of walking in the countryside at sunset.
I have used stranded colourwork with jacquard floats which are an elegent and neat tchnique. Twisted stitches make a textured pattern reminiscent of ears of corn. Full instructions for these techniques are given.
The pattern has been technical edited and test knitted.
