This boho striped market bag can be worked in any number of colors or one solid color, if preferred. The variety of stitches used keeps you engaged -- no project boredom here! Designed for fingering weight cotton yarn (cotton won't stretch as much as other fibers), you can used DK or worsted weight yarn with a larger hook, if you like. Just keep in mind your bag will be slightly bigger. Gauge is merely a suggestion here.
