My twin granddaughters are now 8 years old and in love with their 18" dolls. Since they tell me their dolls are very fashion conscious, Dutiful Grandma Me likes to come up with quick and easy designs for the dolls.
I've just completed these Valentine's Day and Easter outfits. Hope you enjoy making them too!
The sweaters are knit flat in one piece and seamed along the sleeves and sides. You can choose a short sleeve or long sleeve..
Although the hat is knit in the round, feel free to knit it flat and seam it up. Same for the socks (you have ribbed AND stockinette stitch sock patterns!).
The pattern is for stockinette stitch but I include suggestions on how to personalize your sweaters. Although I don't include a sewing pattern for the skirt, I tell you how *I *make a simple skirt with elastic waistband.
