Sweater Weather Mitts Halloween is a stranded colorwork fingerless mitten design featuring rows of sweaters and various symbols/objects associated with Halloween. The design uses typical Halloween colors (orange, black, purple, and white) as main colors and small amounts of other colors (e.g. red, green, yellow) to add small design elements in duplicate stitch. The mittens are very colorful, they are sure to cheer you up on the dark, cold night of October 31st.
Materials
1 US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method)
2 Light fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50g). For larger mittens you may want to use Fingering or Sport weight yarn. You will need about 286 yards/62 g total
Gauge: 9 sts x 13 rows (knitting in the round) in 1” x 1” after blocking. This is gauge for recommended yarn and US 0 (2 mm) needles.
