This adorable hippo is bound to be a child’s best friend! The lovey form makes it easy to hug and carry around. And the swimming ring will help the baby when the teeth start showing, just as it helps the hippo when the tide is high…
The hippo is worked in continuous rounds, so there’s no need to join each round with a slip stitch. A stitch marker might be handy, though. The ears are not sewn, but made together with the head, so there’s no way they will come out easily!
