With alternating garter stitch and cabled sections, the scarf creates a lovely gathered look due to the changes in tension. For the hat, you’ll work the cable pattern beginning with a provisional cast-on, graft it with the final row to create the brim, and then you’ll pick up stitches and knit in the round to complete the hat. Reno is the perfect blend for this set since the Merino wool, bamboo, yak, and polyamide, heathered yarn, is comfortable to wear next-to-the-skin. Cable pattern is charted only.
