Product Details

This shawl starts with few stitches, is knitted diagonally and grows until a certain point. The second color is attached and using easy intarsia technique, (given in photo and video tutorial) and short row shaping the middle part will be created. By mirroring this, shawl ends with few stitches. An I-cord edge, knitted with a special technique which is described in pattern creates a nice and elastic edge.

Size Approx. 196x 80cm (196x 40cm folded for wearing)

Yarn 2 Skeins of contrasting color of Alpaka-Seide by RockTheWool (79% alpaca 21% silk) 400m/ 437yards per 100g - or a fingering weight yarn which gives you required gauge.

Needle / hook 3mm (US2 ½) cable needle minimum 60cm – or a needle which gives you the required gauge.
