Crochet pattern leaflet includes instructions to make the dress, pantalets, shoes, and purse, with instructions given for sash and hair bow made from organza or any sheer fabric. Uses an assortment of cabled cotton (or substitute worsted weight acrylic) with trim and shoes in perle cotton (#10 can be substituted); purse made from sport weight chenille and metallic Gold Rush. Fits 18" American Girl Dolls, Springfield Dolls, Götz Dolls or dolls of a similar size.
GAUGE With G hook and worsted weight: 4 sts and 5 sc rows or 2 dc rows = 1 inch. With E hook and chenille or metallic: 5 sc and 5 sc rnds = 1 inch. With size 7 steel hook and #5 perle cotton or #10 thread: 8 sc and 9 sc rows = 1 inch.
