Product Details
This pattern is knit flat starting with the front edge of the skirt, using short row shaping. Stitches for the body are then pick up along the waistline. The sleeves are knit separately and joined with raglan shaping. The border/button placket is knit in the round.
The Technicolor Dreamcoat draws inspiration from Stephanie Pokorny’s Serged Dream Coat and the amazing upcyled sweaters by katwise. If you are not familiar with their work, I highly recommend taking a few minutes to peruse their websites.
Gauge is 22 stitches and 44 rows knit in Seed Stitch with size 5 needles
Knit Picks Brava Sport Weight Yarn was used
Ivy, my petite model is wearing size 4, which is written with 3” positive ease, with the skirt ending just above the knees. Ivy should be able to wear this for several seasons.
