Product Details

This is a pattern for a fairly “long wingspan” crescent shaped shawlette. The bottom is enhanced by a lovely lace stitch that adds a wonderfully feminine finish to this piece. The edging lace is a very traditional Shetland edging. The shawlette measures 68 inches at the widest points across the top and is 16 inches deep at the deepest point. I have shown it in the pictures in just a couple of the many ways that it can be worn.

This pattern is Charted ONLY.

There are also directions contained within the pattern to make it larger. (The yarn requirements reflect the larger size, as well)

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

The shawl was knit with Lorna’s Laces, Honor Yan, in Colorway, irving Park. However, a sport weight yarn, such as Sportmate will work equally well for this pattern, assuming you get gauge.
