Product Details
I’ve knitted this thick yet cozy beanie, perfect for my friend Teneal’s Australian wilderness hikes. Its made from 12 ply Bendigo Woollen Mills classic yarn, the colour chosen inspired by the eucalypts trees.
A practical design, snug fit with a slight slouch so it can be worn single brim or folded up. The cables adding extra thickness and warmth and of course the wool perfect for regulating temperature and moisture wicking.
Knitted in the round brim up, on 6mm 16” needles, any 12 ply with a similar gauge should work up well.
I’ve used Bendigo Woollen Mills, 12 ply classic in Pale Eucalypt, 103 grams/134 metres, 16 stitches to 10cm/4”.
