Product Details
Latimeria is a genus of living coelacanth, a type of ‘lobe-finned’ fish that has distinct bones in the fins. These are related to the bones in our own arms and legs. The distinctive shape of the coelacanth tail means it can form a tessellation.
A ‘tessellation’ in this context is a design which forms a ‘tile’ that can fit repeatedly to itself either by being a duplicated, a mirror-image or a rotated copy of the same design. This cushion cover uses the same fish tile to make up the pattern with extra in-fills at the edges.
This makes a 10 inch square cushion.
