The construction of this crochet hexagon sweater is what makes it so fun. Can you spot the two granny hexagons?
It's like a magic trick! You crochet them and then--poof!--they just disappear into the coziest little lightweight sweater you've ever worn.
The two simple granny hexagons are what form the chest and shoulders of the sweater. Once they're seamed, you'll lengthen the sweater, add longer sleeves, and pop a basic rectangular hood on the top to make your cardigan extra comfy.
Sounds pretty doable, doesn't it? It is! This four-season sweater is extremely customizable to fit your specific body type. Written pattern includes thorough notes on how to customize your cardigan, plus 7 pages of instructional photos. Photos are separated from written pattern so you can choose to print them or conserve ink.
This ad-free, printable PDF is includes Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of the pattern and is meant to accompany the original Campfire Cardigan free pattern on Make & Do Crew.

I found that this design is quite versatile in that I can use a variety of yarns for different items. This, in turn creates varying sizes of garments. Also, the options offered in the pattern allow for each garment to be as unique as I wish. I’m enjoying crafting this sweater! This pattern also lends itself to using up some of my yarn stash by making a variety of sized sweaters.
I love it, it have made quite a few as gifts. It's easy, fast, and easy to adjust the size to fit.
Really easy pattern to follow if you’re just starting out.
For the most part, the pattern is easy to follow. I have trouble with patterns, so I found an online tutorial that helped me with some of the more difficult parts. That said, I would definitely recommend this pattern.
The cardigan is novel, and easy to do, The pattern is a bit to long but I suppose if It was more precise the price, would not be justified. I would like a more precise pattern, e.g. work 20 rounds for the medium size. The picture s were ok but there was no need for so many I share patterns with my sisters and they do the same so there are 4 cardigans being made as I type,
Pattern is poorly written - very difficult to follow.
I’m working on it at the minute so my cardigan is incomplete, but it’s easy to follow so I feel confident that it will look amazing when finished.
Easy to use pattern, well explained. Great for chilly evenings
Still working on it but it is easy to read and clear instructions
