This pattern is a simple color block style pattern, designed to mimic a candy corn. The crown is a textured closure so you can wear your finished hat pom-free is you choose.

Pattern is knit in the round using circular needles, from the bottom up.
Needles: -US size 11/8mm, 16” circular needles -US size 11/8mm DPNs to close is recommended for a tight finished crown

Suggested Yarns: I used Malabrigo Rasta but any Super Bulky (#6) weight yarn such as Baah Yarn Mammoth will work.
