The perfect, sweat free summer project, this cardi is designed to allow the knitter to create a custom fit. The sleeves, body length and size in general, can be adjusted to the knitter’s preference.
The adult version of the Lighthouse Keeper's Daughter. The only seaming involved, is closing up the hood using the seaming method of your choice.
DESIGN NOTE REGARDING SLEEVELESS VERSION: If you are making the sleeveless version of this sweater, in order to strengthen the armhole, you can follow the directions for making a sleeve, but instead of knitting the sleeve, simply purl 2 rounds and then bind off. Or, you may also follow the pattern directions, however, the above instructions make a more structured finish.
