The Wind Chime Fluffy Cardigan

This simple fluffy cardigan is crocheted from side to side using front loop half double crochet. The starting chain runs the total length of the garment which means we will be making the front and back panel at the same time. Once we’ve reached the width we need for neckline shaping, we will add a few rows to the back panel then continue making the second front and back panel. The edging for the two sides at the front and the bottom of the cardigan are composed of front loop single crochet and standard single crochet. The sides are seamed up using mattress st while leaving some space for the sleeves. Sleeves are crocheted in the round while decreasing by 1 st every 2 rounds until desired length. Lastly, the two pockets are made in the body pattern (front loop half double crochet) for a couple rows, adding 2 rows of sc and 1 row of slip stitch and whip stitched to the front of the cardigan.
