These mittens are part of my Thekla set, inspired by the colors of autumn. You find the matching hat in my store. The mittens are knitted seamlessly from the bottom to top. You need 2 colors with a strong contrast. I worked with Finkhof Merino duenn. Sock yarn held double will also work well.

Yarn: Finkhof Merino duenn. 300m/100g. Sample shown in dark grey and light grey.
Yardage: MC: 30g, CC 40g,
Gauge: 24stx26rds = 4''/10cm in colorwork
Needles and tools: DPN US2''/2.75 mm, US4''/ 3.5 mm and US 6/4mm or long circular needles same sizes for magic loop, tapestry needle, scissors, waste yarn to facilitate the placement of afterthought thumb.
