This Little Piggy Goes to Market is knit seamlessly from the bottom up.
This is a great little bag to keep stowed in your purse and car or fill it up with wine and flowers as a cute gift.
MEASUREMENTS The pouch measures 5 inches/ 12 1/2 centimetres wide and 5 1/2 inches/ 13 centimetres high when closed with the bag inside of it. The bag measures 17 inches/ 43 centimetres long and 6 inches/ 15 centimetres wide when open, measured un-stretched.
The stitch pattern used creates a mesh fabric that is very stretchy; please keep this in mind when choosing yarn for this project. If you are using a fibre with a natural tendency to stretch such as acrylic or bamboo, you may consider shortening the handles to accommodate. Let your gauge swatch be your guide.
