Product Details
These wonderfully warm mittens originated in Newfoundland and are made with tufts of roving knitted into the fabric while knitting. The roving will matt lightly over time and create a cozy warm inner cocoon. I like to call them Uggs for my hands.
The adult pattern comes in two sizes, small and medium but is easily customized by adding or subtracting 4 stitches and adjusting the length accordingly.
These could also be suited for an advanced beginner as long as they know how to knit in the round, either on double point needles or using the magic loop method.
Aran weight yarn knitting to a gauge of 4-4.5 stitches per inch is recommended.
They make wonderful gifts as well.
Happy knitting and let me know how you like them!!
