Product Details

An easy, striped shawl for using up some of your precious single skeins from your stash. Alternatively you can use a mix of leftover yarns you have from a previous project.

Try out some of these combinations: - use only one yarn - semisolid, or something with long colour change - use a solid with a colour changing - on the edge use the colour changing or the semisolid. - use two semisolids - or be wild: use two colour changing yarns from the same colourway or even from different ones!

What you choose will define the effect you get. It can be anything from fun to elegant.

It’s warm, light and drapes well. The shawl is crescent shaped, with a perpendicularly attached edging, and needs hardly any finishing. The body is quick and easy to knit and although the edging needs patience and it takes a lot of time, it is really interesting and not at all boring.

The sample was knit in Alize Cashmira Fine. A substitute yarn is shown below.
