Ponchos are a great way to keep warm indoors and out. Cozy as a cardigan or blanket, they stay on your shoulders, and there's no worry about fitting them over what you're already wearing. Worked in sportweight yarn to a loosened gauge, the drape of the fabric and diagonal lines of the pattern flatter the figure whether you're walking in the woods or curling up on the couch.
Construction Notes:Time Makes You Bolder is basically a rectangle, folded in half and partially seamed at the top edge. You begin it by working a small triangular shawlette (ponch-ette?) from a garter tab cast on (construction tutorial included). Once the triangle reaches the height of the poncho, you place half of the triangle’s sts onto waste yarn while you work the remaining sts to create the front of poncho on the bias.
