Needle size Bigger needle: 4.5 mm ( US 7 ) Gauge 19 sts 22 rows = 10 cm ( 4 inch ) in cable st. 20 sts 22 rows = 10 cm ( 4 inch ) in k2, p2 ribbing ( for sleeve ).
Smaller needle : 3 mm ( US 21⁄2 ) 24 sts 24 rows = 10 cm ( 4 inch ) in k1tbl, p1 rib st.
