Every year, my hometown hosts a 5K Thanksgiving Day Run... I know... silly Americans ;)
My big brother comes to visit this time of year, and he loves to run in this race. I don't love it, but how can I say no to my brother? He’s driving 9 hours to spend the holiday with us, how can I say no? So, I’ve decided that if I’m going, I’m at least going in style. I’m going to be noticed for my awesome hat instead of the red face and labored breathing that will be going on underneath the hat. So, the idea for the Tom Turkey hat was born. I think it turned out to be an awesome little hat. And I am going to totally ROCK that Turkey Trot! Happy knitting!
