Product Details
An Australian wombat to knit and cuddle!
Make it in 2 sizes by using different thicknesses of yarn and size of needles. The pattern has detailed instructions for assembling the pieces, which are made flat on 2 needles, with gussets for shape.
Best for an intermediate knitter with a little toy-making experience.
Inspiration for this toy wombat came from Jackie French’s children’s books, as well as the lovely Australian animals they represent. Have a look at “Diary of a Wombat” and “Grandma Wombat” – wonderfully funny!
The Australian bushfire fundraising campaign, for aiding affected wildlife, has now ended.
In total, the 6 patterns involved raised AU$1,610 – a fantastic result!
Thank you to everyone who contributed by purchasing a pattern.❤️
