Product Details
The Trellis Socks are snug ¾ crew socks with an interlocking cable motif running down the front of the leg and top of the foot. They are designed with optional contrast cuffs, heels, and toes. The construction is top down, with a heel flap and gusset and a simple wedge toe.
The motif was inspired originally by chain-link fences, but once knit, it reminded me more of lattice-work, like a lovely trellis in a cottage garden, full of early spring peas or late summer pole beans. The cable also pulls the sock in slightly, ensuring a snug fit around the feet of the wearer and hopefully ensuring a longer life.
