Product Details

This pattern is for advanced beginners. But I did try to write it that so that even a beginner should understand. You need to know the basic stitches of single crochet, half double crochet and slip stitching, increasing and decreasing. There is some face shaping put pattern explains how to do this.

I have updated the pattern using Scheejes Stonewashed yarn and changed the hook and technique of the pattern. That said you can still use your favourite yarn but using a bigger or smaller hook size.

For the yarn: I used just over 1 ball for the Turtle itself. I managed to get the whole head, body, 1 and a half legs made with one ball. Again this will depend on your tension. Using the different stitch technique makes for a tighter stitch which is great because no holes in your work so you do not see any stuffing through your work. You will use only a part of a 50 gram ball for the hat and shell.

From foot to head about 8.5 inches, and about 6 inches sitting.
