Product Details
This pattern should have been named "Very Versatile". It can be worn with either side as the front or the back. The knitter can choose to knit both sides the same or mix it up as I did. It is an EASY knit, done in garter stitch (knit every row). The gauge (naturally) and the size of the basic square determines the size. If making a much larger size, additional yarn is required. Self striping yarn is a good choice for this pattern; however solid colors would show off stitch definition well. The top is designed to be worn in summer---or as a vest in winter. A cotton blend yarn would span the seasons. I almost forgot to add that detachable sleeves are another option and directions are included with pattern.
