This is one of a series of knit and crochet accessories that are designed to celebrate the beautiful colors and interesting patterns of the birds we see in our own gardens, and also birds from all over the world.
This Tribute Shawl is knitted from side to side, increasing on one side during the first half, then, decreasing on the same side during the second half, creating a triangle shape.
Slipped stitch colorwork create the stepped blocks effect. This would make a great gift and is also quite a quick project due to its simplicity and its repetitive pattern.
