What you'll need
Product Details
My Tropical Flower hand knitted cushion cover is fun and relatively straight forward to make, but you will need to know how to work the short row shaping technique by wrapping stitches. You can find tutorials on how to wrap stitches on various web sites, but you are welcome to email us at Janie Crow for more information if you get stuck. You will also need to know how to work the Intarsia technique and for the central mandala you will need to know how to crochet. If you do not crochet you could always place a large button or gather your stitches to close the hole made at the cushion cover centre.
The pattern is written for a heavy DK weight yarn, but if you use a finer yarn you could achieve a really nice effect and end up with a smaller cushion cover.
