A simple brim up hat, with ribbing all the way up, decreases makes X to give the top of the hat rounded and interesting crown.

Needles: Size US 8 / 5mm 16" circular for brim, Size US 9 / 5.5mm 16" circular for body, Size US 9 / 5.5mm DPN's for decreases.

Yarn Used: Mountain Meadow Wool, Laramie. (Worsted / 10 ply: 100% Mountain Merino Wool/Rambouillet: 200yds / 100g per skein)

Yardage: 200 yards or under.

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows per 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Other Notions: 5 stitch markers and tapestry needle for finishing.
