Product Details
The London subway is called “The Tube”, and you can knit this Tube Train as a toy, as a draught excluder, or a memento for London lovers. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the train is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The doors and front of the train incorporate intarsia colour-work. The carriages are joined together with snap fasteners. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, Swiss darning, and seaming to finish.
