Product Details

Love complex lace, thin needles, cobweb weight yarn?

It all started as my very first sweater. I wanted to use super thin yarn, it had to be in a large lace motif (because I found stockinette to be unbearably boring, though I love it now), and all the shaping had to be in the lace motifs themselves. It took me a good couple years of designing before I felt confident that I could write the pattern!

You will need 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) skeins of Centolavaggi, or 1,000 (1,100, 1,200, 1,300, 1400, 1,500) yards yarn. I recommend using wool - It is the easiest to work with and will block beautifully. If you want to use cotton or another fiber, please make the gauge swatch in the pattern to ensure that it will work

Are you new to lace/knitting and still want to give it a try? You will need to know the basic lace stitches (yo, ssk, k2tog), knitting through the back (twisted stitches), purling, and nupps. Basic grafting skills are a plus. If you are determined enough, you can do it!
