Product Details
Designed to show off the beautiful colour changes in yarn cakes, Two Sisters can be crocheted as a bottom up triangle or a rectangular wrap.
The rhythm of the pattern is easy to pick up, with a 2 row repeat for the shawl and a 4 row repeat for the wrap, which works both the body of the shawl and its neat border simultaneously. Best suited to intermediate or confident beginners who have mastered all the basic stitches including double treble crochet (UK)/treble crochet (US).
The size can be adjusted easily but note that amount of yarn required will change. Achieving an exact gauge is not essential, as long as stitch tension remains consistent throughout.
Yarn is Scheepjes Whirl in Fruity O’Tutty (triangular shawl) and Dandelion Munchies (rectangular wrap). Each version uses 1 ball. Any 4ply yarn will work well, or another weight with the appropriately sized hook. Colour changing yarn cakes work particularly well.
