This is a lovely knitting pattern for a cosy and warm chunky headband.
The headband has a wonderful two stitch check texture which is very easily made using only knit and purl stitches.
Your knitting pattern also contains introductions for an easy to knit rose flower and leaf appliqué.
You can leave the headband plain or decorate them with the flower and/or leaf as you wish.
You need a pair of 6mm knitting needles and approx 80g of chunky yarn - we used a yarn called Wool Addicts Earth. You can use any chunky yarn of your choice or knit with 2 strands of DK yarn held together to make this lovely headband.
