A quick and funky hat with interesting stamen stitch texture. little tucks at the back to make it sit on your head perfectly, and a fluffy pompom.
Size M-L to fit head circumference 22-24’’ / 56-61 cm.
Yarn Hakamaan lammastila 2ply (100 % wool, 175 m / 50 g), or other sport weight yarn.
1-2 skeins.
Yardage 185-265 yrds / 170-245 m (including the pompom).
Needles US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 6 (4.0 mm) – 16’’/40 cm circular needles (or a longer length for magic loop) and dpns for the crown shaping. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.
Gauge 18 sts x 38 rows = 4x4’’ / 10x10 cm in stamen stitch, worked in the round on the bigger needles (after blocking).
