Product Details
Very easy basic pattern for such a cute caftan! It is crocheted sideways in one long piece and then the side seams need to be sewed together. The caftan is meant to fit loose and it has a v-neck in the front & in the back. I recommend using a light cotton yarn so it's not heavy. It fits all adult sizes & there are 4 lengths to choose from: 27", 29", 31" and 33". Since there are so many variations of different widths & lengths I cannot estimate the total number of yards needed for all. Size XS/S and length 29” is shown in the picture which required 945 yards of yarn. The pattern uses basic American crochet terminology and if you have experience with reading a written pattern this is a great pattern for a beginner.
