This yarn is luxurious and so soft and wonderful to work with. It knits up beautifully and the first time I wore my jumper I was delighted with it. I hand washed it using the same method and recommended detergent for wool items that I use on all my hand knitted jumpers and used luke warm water. From the first wash it shrunk and felted so much that it's now unwearable. I have tried various methods of recovery, but it's too far gone. I'm so disappointed in the money and time I've wasted that I couldn't recommend it
