A surprisingly quick project, using only a few different stitches, which is perfect for beginners to try.
The shawl is airy and delicate looking, great for cool summer evenings.
The name Velca means flame and it’s perfect for this shawl as the stitches look like little flames.

**Size:**234 cm/ 92” long and 69 cm/ 27” wide AFTER BLOCKING
Materials needed:
• 3.5 mm (E) size hook • NOTE: If you crochet loosely I advise you to use a 3 mm (5/0) size hook • 400 grams/ 2 cakes of Hobbii Sultan or approximately 1750 yards/1600 meters of fingering weight yarn (I used Fire Opal (39) Shade)• Yarn needle for weaving in ends • Scissors • Stitch markers (optional)
