Product Details
Viator is Latin, meaning "traveller". I felt the name belonged to this cardigan because of the cables travelling from the bottom back hem, over the shoulders and to the front hems.
This is an open, cable-adorned cardigan. It is worked from the bottom up in separate pieces. There is waist shaping and the sleeves are set in. In the back, a cable pattern rises from the center upwards and separates in a V-shape at the shoulder blades. Otherwise the cardigan is stockinette stitch with garter stitch borders and two yarn braids as a closure method. The fronts of the cardigan do not overlap or go together – there is an opening of about the neck’s width between the fronts.
