Product Details
ViViAnn Scarf I created this scarf for my uniquely dyed skeins of fingering weight yarn. I have wanted to have a decorative light weight scarf that celebrates the seasons. The pattern has alternating sections of structure and freedom. This is a one skein project. I will have new yarn combinations for the seasons to come. The tassels are optional. This scarf is knit flat. Yarn: Vibrant Viking, Fall Color Combo, Pink Speckles & Black Tonal, Fingering Weight, 75% Super Wash Merino/25% Nylon, 4 ply, 463 yds/100g. (Yardage needed includes fringe). Save about 10 feet/304.8 cm from each end of the skein if you want to add the fringe. GAUGE 24 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in linen st. 24 sts and 8 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in drop st. 24 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in 12 row pattern repeat. The pattern for the scarf consists of 10 rows of Linen stitch followed by 2 rows of the Drop stitch. These 12 rows are repeated to the end. The last repeat only has the 10 rows of Linen stitch.
