Product Details
A beautiful light lace weight scarf/wrap designed to use just one 50 gramme skein. Worked on large needles to give a loose fabric, it could almost float away on a summer breeze.
The pattern is well suited to variegated yarn, being worked on the bias and the dropped stitch ladders will break up any pooling, but it would look equally stunning in a solid colour.
The sample used 49 g of Manos del Uruguay Lace in a purple and pink variegated colourway
The length will depend on the yardage of your skein, your gauge and how severely you block it. The sample is 73" x 11" blocked only for width but some testers have made theirs over 100 inches long and also in fingering weight yarn. Gauge is not that important - it should be knit loosely.
The pattern is charted using StitchMastery and includes full written instructions.
Stitches used: k, p, kfb, m1p, k2tog, dropped stitches
