Walking Through Cairo Socks Knitting Pattern
This design was inspired by ancient ruins in Egypt. My mom was born in Egypt and some of my family still lives there. Egypt has always been a source of inspiration and wonder and I would love to travel there one day. This design features my interpretation of pyramids, hieroglyphs, and columns into knitting. I hope you enjoy working on these socks and that it brings you closer to Egyptian history and artistry too!
YARN100g of sock/fingering weight yarn
NOTESThis pattern is written using a cuff-down sock technique and includes instructions for a heel flap and gusset. The pattern is written for 9” circular needles but can easily be adjusted to use magic loop or double pointed needles.
