Product Details

Wally the walrus was fed up with lockdown. He packed his little suitcase, jumped onto the first iceberg he could find and off he went. He visited Ireland first and then moved on to Tenby where he stayed for a while. Now he’s on his travels again. He popped into Cornwall to say hello and then headed off to France, who knows where he’ll turn up next! He is just over 12 inches long - including flippers.

The pattern uses US terminology (UK terminology is also available as a separate listing) and can be downloaded after purchase. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change, back loop only and front post stitch. I have made Wally using Scheepjes Softfun & Softfun Denim (DK weight yarn) - details in pattern.

Stitches/techniques used in this pattern: slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, half double, increase, decrease (sc2tog), colour change, back loop only, front post stitch
