Product Details

This warm pocket shawl pattern is designed using two very unusual cable stitches: both of which come to us from Japan. There is a disgram contained within the pattern to help you place the pockets correctly. The pockets ensure that the shawl will not fall off your shoulders. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging.

The shawl is made using worsted weight yarn, and hence is warm.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

Both stitches are charted and written out line by line.

The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Worsted by Lorna's Laces, in colorway Mirth, however, any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern.
