Product Details
Perfect for a walk along a blustery beach, Watermark is a tunic-length sweater with raglan sleeves and A-line shaping. The oversized cowl neck is worked in a simple lace pattern which also borders the hem and the deep cuffs. Worked flat and seamed for strength and structure, it works up quickly in worsted weight yarn. Designed to hang past the hips and kick out from the body to give a slim look to the hips and legs.
Watemark was originally published in the book Tempest, a collection of handknits designed by Holli Yeoh for SweetGeorgia Yarns. Included in the pdf download is an additional 10 page Tips & Techniques section from Tempest.
Skills required
Basic knitting skills, knitting in the round (for the cowl), increases/decreases, working from simple lace chart or written instructions, knit-on edging, knowledge of basic sweater construction, picking up stitches, seaming.
