Watermelon Socks in Lett Lopi

Though I created this pattern for Lett Lopi yarn, any socks yarn can be used.

The pattern repeats every 12 stitches and 6 rows. 60 stitches chart gives 11" sock width, 48 st give 8" sock width. The sock length is adjustable.

The pattern is unisex: men have plainly striped version but for women I designed a more complicated variant with polka dots. It might be decorated with an additional floral strip below the cuff and above the toe.

The used technique is short rows for both heel and toe. You need to be familiar with it to start. The socks are knit from calf to toe.

The PDF includes color ways, work description, 3 charts for watermelon, and 1 chart for cantaloupe melon. I didn't try the melon chart, just give it as a bonus :)

3(4) colors of great Ístex Létt-Lopi yarn are used:

9434 crimson red (up to 1/2 skein)

1405 pine green (1-2 skeins)

9421 celery green (1-2 skeins)

0059 black for seeds - optional, can be replaced by pine green. (few meters)
