Product Details
Wavy Edged Sun Dress Knitting pattern by Pizpaw Patterns. Pattern no. 47 is for a Sun Dress to fit a baby/toddler. The instructions are for 4 sizes: 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.
The Sun Dress has a wavy hemline and easy-to-knit main repeat pattern. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together.
The pattern uses double-knitting wool. An alternative would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply for international knitters. You will also need sizes 3.25 mm and 4 mm (US size 3 and 6) straight needles and 4 buttons.
The picture shows the 12 month old size knitted using Sirdar Snuggly DK in shade 0439 (Little Bud) and shade 0251 (White). You will need 2 (3, 3, 4) balls of Little Bud and 1 ball of White for all sizes.
